Season 2, Episode 13: Beginning Readers and Struggling Readers. What's the Difference‪?‬ The Reading Project

    • Education for Kids

Let me introduce you to Laurie Molnar. Laurie is a certified Level OG (Orton-Gillingham) practitioner with over 35 years of experience teaching students in public, private, and homeschool settings. She is also a learning disability and dyslexia specialist.

Laurie knows we all learn best and are willing to make mistakes when we are relaxed and happy. Learning is a process and it’s important to celebrate progress over perfection. As a private tutor for years, Laurie is always looking for the best ways to show students what they are doing right, so she can help them understand what they need to practice.

In this episode, we discuss effective and gentle ways to help beginning or struggling readers build confidence in reading without guessing!
