Season 2, Episode 14: Tips to Make the Most of the Library The Reading Project

    • Education for Kids

In this solo episode, I speak about how you can take advantage of your local library and make the most of your trips there.

Growing up, I always went to the library. My grandmother even worked at our little library in town. I remember getting off the school bus or walking to the library after school and getting my homework done, checking out new books, or just hanging out. The library was definitely a big part of my life growing up! I love that now I get to share that love of the library with my students and my own children.

November is Family Literacy Month, so it seemed like the perfect time to do an episode about the library. And November 7, is picture book day, so it's a great time to head to the library as a family and check out some picture books. And while you're there, you can see what your local library has to offer you.

Tune in to this episode for some tips on how you can make the most of your next family library visit!
