Derrica Daniel is the President of the ACLU of Nevada Emerging Leaders youth program, and

Finance Coordinator for the ACLU of Nevada. She is a Las Vegas native, who graduated from

Legacy High School in 2018 and has been heavily involved in the Las Vegas community for the past seven years. She is a Batteries Included award recipient, an award-winning Poet, and a

mentor in Teaching and Uniting Ladies to Inspire Positive Success (T.U.L.I.P.S.) She graduated

from the Summer Business Institute at the top of her class and utilized her skills to pursue

entrepreneurship. Daniel attended Euphoria Institute of Beauty Arts & Sciences to become an

Esthetician, and she received her license in January 2021.

Raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Israel Hernandez, known affectionately as Izzy, is a multifaceted

individual renowned as a Thought Leader, Speaker, and Community Builder. Graduating from the Veterans Tribute Career & Technical Academy in 2021 amidst the backdrop of the

pandemic, Izzy attained a diploma in Law Enforcement, though he harbored no aspirations for a career in policing or the military. Instead, he discovered his true passion lay in serving his

community, particularly the Black & Brown communities.

Kash Williams is an executive board member of the ACLU of Nevada Emerging Leaders

youth program. Kash is a Las Vegas native and currently attends Cheyenne High School,

where she serves as the Vice President of the Black Student Union. In 2021, Williams

joined the Archonettes, a youth auxiliary of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., and also joined

the nonprofit organization Teaching and Uniting Ladies to Inspire Positive Success

(T.U.L.I.P.S.). Williams was selected to be the NAACP Youth Council President in 2022

and currently serves on numerous community-based executive boards at the young

age of 16.
