Love but

Love the pod but some of the guests recently…episode 256…iykyk

it’s just too white

i love Cat and Pat so much and want the best for them, but i have to say that i’m starting to grow out of this pod a little. being a woc, and especially after the uprising of 2020, the majority white women-centric conversations and guests is becoming very stale and tone-deaf to me.

i’m not discrediting Cat’s efforts to hold herself accountable given her previous mistakes. both hosts have a sense of self-awareness that has kept me listening to them since the beginning. and i appreciate when they have trans and/or non-white guests on and create space for them (and not talk over them).

i’m just starting to think maybe the pod isn’t for me anymore, and that’s ok.

no more zoom maybe? ,

Please go back to in-person podcasts!

Y’all are literal saints and I love this podcast so so much, but I think y’all do your best work when you are both in the same room together! The energy is just better! I’m v thankful y’all came back after the ~hiatus~ and will obvi listen regardless, but please go back to in-person!
