My new favorite story-telling podcast.

I found this podcast about a month ago and was hooked after one episode. I binge listened to the whole first season in 2 days, and now I’ve listened to every episode of the second season the day it was released. Charlie’s presentation of his love life is witty, charming, and sometimes painfully relatable. Now that this season is ending, I’m torn between hoping for another season and hoping the host find love and doesn’t need another season.

Serial Dater

This podcast leaves you yearning for the next episode. Well written, charming, and hilarious. No matter your demographic profile, you will recognize yourself as you listen to the author describe his journey through the netherworld of dating and other timeless topics.

Update after listening to Season 2:
The first season was all the things you want in a podcast: hilarious, charming, heartfelt and eloquent. The British installments are all that and much more.

Were there a place in the podcast universe that chronicles the impact of social media on our culture, this podcast should be there. There is heartbreak and revelation, written with insight and delivered in a style that pulls you in, entertains, and leaves even the most romantically cynical listener wanting more. As the British say: Well done!
