Southern Heights Presbyterian Church is a loving and welcoming church community located in Lincoln, Nebraska. We are women and men, young and old, from many backgrounds, cultures, and experiences, all seeking to faithfully live together in community and in faith as we are called to go out and serve. We strive to understand and experience God's call to us in the world as we step beyond the walls of our building to follow where God leads us. We embrace friend and stranger, welcoming all in Christ's love. We love to laugh, to sing and to dance. To share stories and lives (and food!) around the table. Where Can I Find You?
There are days...Oh, there are days...when the road seems too rough and the journey too hard. What do we do when we just want to give up? In the wake of a week of horrible news, (yet another mass shooting where innocent lives were lost, a small child from a neighboring community lost while happily splashing on vacation, hate, hurt, anger and vitriol streaming across the airwaves into our homes and into our minds), we are tired and hurting and...just looking for God to speak to us in these moments.
