Outlander is crazy. LDR is lovely.

I'm not a die hard fan of Outlander books or TV show but enjoy the crazy enough to have fun watching it! Lani is intelligent and fun to listen to. She's smart, sassy, and (in)sightful! I'm not a fan of her trying to recreate what she would have done but appreciate the thought behind it. As long as I'm watching Outlander, I'll be listening to Lani! The video blogs are typically how I consume S&W and it's great fun to see how she incorporates the scenes from the show in the video.

I can write a better television series listen to me complain..blah blah blah

If your interested in this one woman complain fest, slide up a chair and get ready to have your cup full. She can do everything better / I’m just a critic -crap. Don’t waste your time. She kills the fun in all things Outlander. Oh! And guess what -she has a Buffy Poscast too! Only mentions it 100000 times per episode.ugh
Don’t waste your time.

Yes!

Lani is so smart and so funny. She's not just giving a recap; she speaks from perspective of narrative theory, her field of study and practice, so she offers solid argument for what works and what doesn't work, and why, in terms of story structure; I find that really helpful. She's also a fan, and a writer of books herself, so her critique isn't about tearing something down so much as explaining it. She shows how we can talk about a show critically while loving and appreciating it. I find it a helpful balance.
