Mitch talks about his motivations for joining the army, his experience with deployment to Afghanistan, and what it was like to return to Australia after witnessing some unique experiences. This episode is released in conjunction with ANZAC Day, a day which we at Downer recognise as an important day to pay respect to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to protect their country and liberty.     We are back for Season 3 and start by speaking to Fiona Rynott from our Road Services business, who shares her story of being diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer at 33. Fiona discusses her experience of being diagnosed at such a young age, her support network and her hope for the future. Please note, this is a story about Fiona's personal experience with her diagnosis and she does not speak for all cancer patients. She talks about how this has affected her and her family and her future.  Listener discretion is advised, as this is an emotional story and could be triggering to someone going through something similar. This episode is released in conjunction with World Cancer Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness, improving education and taking action to reimagine a world where cancer is treatable and curable. It is an important day for Downer, as we support The Australian Cancer Research Foundation through our workplace giving program.
