Welcome to True Kinship with Animals where we believe we all do better when ALL creatures do better. I’m your host Janet Roper and each week you’ll hear stories and suggestions on how you can begin to dismantle your connection with colonized influences so that you can deepen your relationship with animals, moving you from ownership to true kinship, one animal at a time.
In this episode I’m sharing my story about the 30+ years body of work I created with now deceased animal helpers dog Teddy, horse Shiloh and cat Raven. It was definitely created as a labor of love. It still is and yet it has changed now that I am doing it solo. Here’s my story of what that’s like for me.
I’m putting a call out for stories from listeners! Stories help us make sense of the world in a way that is memorable, understandable and relatable. We need them. What’s one of your true kinship stories you’d like to share? I’d love to hear it. Click the link below to submit it.
