Saheli Women is a non-profit social enterprise, founded in 2015, with the aim of financially empowering the ladies of Bhikamkor village in rural Rajasthan; through creating ethical and sustainable fashion. Each episode features one of the Saheli Women telling the story of her life, as read by an actor, translated from Hindi to English by Madhu Vaishnav.

Sharmili's story is told here by Natalie Dew, star of Sandylands, Peter Rabbit and Bend It Like Beckham.
