The New Adventures of Sherlock Holmes was a radio drama series that aired from 1946 to 1947. It starred John Stanley as Sherlock Holmes and Alfred Shirley as Dr. Watson. The show was sponsored by Kreml Hair Products and was broadcast on the American Broadcasting Company (ABC).
The show was a continuation of the earlier radio series The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, which starred Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce. However, the Stanley and Shirley version took a more lighthearted approach to the material, and the characters were more modernized.
