Language is a two way street.

I really appreciate your podcasts. Just a note to remember that the language barrier is 1/2 your problem too. Your new acquaintances probably speak English better than you speak Uganda’s language. I also discovered as an exchange student and host parent myself that “English” is whatever a country deems it and teaches in their schools. You would be shocked what is taught. They are not wrong, we Americans are just ethnocentric. Keep up your helpful podcasts. I’m one of the PD club members.
