Shrinking Trump
Psychologists John Gartner, Harry Segal, and their expert guests, conduct weekly sessions analyzing the psyche of Donald Trump, documenting his cognitive decline and plumbing the depths of his malignant narcissism. Dr. Gartner is a former part-time assistant professor of psychiatry at Johns Hopkins University Medical School and the founder of Duty To Warn, an association of mental health professionals warning about Trump and Trump-ism. Dr. Segal is a senior lecturer in psychology at Cornell University.

Always good to point out the fascistic nature of trump’s actions when president. However, you neglect to mention that there was activism protesting trump’s actions. Granted, much easier to protest in 2018 USA than late 193o’s Hitler’s Germany. But you didn’t give us credit to protest trump.
“Not Professional”
Dr. John Gartner has damaged, not helped, professional efforts. He pushed aside some of the most renowned mental health professionals because HE had at the front and HE had to be the spokesperson. This caused many respected psychiatrists and psychologists to fall away in disgust, and essentially destroyed the mental health professionals’ movement. This is also why he was fired from Johns Hopkins, NOT because he was a conscientious objector. Every notable mental health professional boycotted his films. This is why a malignant narcissist cannot represent the opposition to a malignant narcissist and be effective.
Good premise but….

Body shaming jokes are low brow and unnecessary. I’m listening for the clinical discourse but the podcast seems to have devolved into something else.
I would love more clinical insight

I like the premise of this podcast, and would love to hear clinical experts give us some analysis of what seems to be happening with Trump’s cognitive demise. But so much of this is just sarcasm and mocking of Trump. If the hosts took their content and edited it down to only their clinical observations and examples from Trump’s speeches, it would be maybe 5 minutes. If they can expand that part to 15 minutes and cut out all the rest, I would love to return to listening to this podcast. I keep wanting to come back for expert opinion on Trump’s pathology, but what I’m looking for is not here. Bring it back, guys!
