S4 - Ep11 - Dan Gorman discussed real estate investing and the $7 million lunch that changed the course of his life
Dan Gorman joins us this week on the podcast to discuss his new book and the journey he took in Real Estate Investment and Management. Dan specializes in repositioning distressed assets.
In his own words:
You’ve got the great idea, you’ve done the research, and maybe you’ve even started on the path to achieving your “thing.” But you don’t know how to go from where you are now to where you want to be. That’s where I was. Then I started inviting people to lunch and coffee, people that had already achieved success in the area I was looking to achieve it. The interactions were always valuable, but one in particular changed the course of my career, and my life. The Seven Million Dollar Lunch is the story of this process. You’ll learn why expressing your dreams and goals to someone in person, over a meal or a cup of coffee, is so important. Especially when digital communication (texting, social media, email, etc) has become the new normal.
And if you, or someone you know, has an incredible story about how one interaction with another person changed the course of your life, we want to know about that so we can share it with others!

S4 - Ep10 - Ever want to launch, market and sell your own brand? Jake Rosenberg did just that and explains how it works.
Jake Rosenberg, The 30-Second Skin Guy and entrepreneur behind Krete, a skincare brand that has specialized in giving men organic-based products designed to meet their skincare needs.
In 2019, Jake was involved in a ski accident that left him with a scar on his face. At the time, he felt there was no solution to his problem because the products were either impractical, marketed towards women, or did not address his concerns. As a result, he learned every aspect of an e-commerce skincare business, product development, supply-chain management, and digital marketing to build a brand with a performance at the core and a simplistic design that would appeal to the modern man. Krete quickly became profitable and continues to innovate for its community, launching new products and integrating novel technologies into its male customer experience.
As a guest on your show, Jake can bring a unique perspective to your listeners by providing valuable, practical advice based on his industry expertise. His ability to foster engaging conversations and share his knowledge will be an invaluable asset to your podcast.

S4 - Ep08 - Lauren Ammon discusses the importance of mental health in not only high intensity sport but in your daily life and business
From kindergarten in Northern Kentucky to college at Eastern Michigan University, Lauren Ammon swam her way to state, national, and collegiate conference championships before she finally hung up her suit and goggles and said goodbye to competitive swimming. It was a fun ride and she loved every minute of it, but often struggled to maximize her mindset and emotional state to support her continued performance. She started Performance Reimagined because of Michael Phelps' message during the 2020 Olympics: "Competition is overwhelming. We just want someone to talk to who listens and doesn't want to fix us." That was the eureka moment. Working with athletes is where she belongs. She created Performance Reimagined to support student-athletes to train their minds like they train their bodies; to remove the mental blocks that keep them from their full potential and highest performance on and off the field.

In her own words:
17 years in the pool feeling most like myself. 17 years out of the pool and I had no idea who I was. A successful career in HR wasn't it. 2 years as a leadership development and transitions coach wasn't it. Then just days before the 2020 Olympics started I happened to say to myself, "I wonder what it would be like to work with athletes?"
It was the night Simone Biles removed herself from the competition and Katie Ledecky won gold in the 1500m freestyle but did everything in her power to hide her disappointment.
In the midst of this swirl, they interviewed Michael Phelps, "Competing at an elite level is overwhelming. We just want someone we can trust. Someone who will listen and let us be ourselves. Someone who will let us be vulnerable. Someone who doesn't want to fix us."
There it was. The eureka moment. As I sat there, in tears, listening to the most prolific Olympian tell the world, "we have no one who supports us mentally," I knew. I FINALLY knew what was "right" for me.
Supporting current student-athletes to train their minds like they train their bodies; to remove the mental blocks that keep them from their full potential (on and off the field).
We partner to understand what’s standing in the way of optimal performance. Why aren’t you performing at the level you want or know you can? How is your mindset hindering your performance? Even Michael Phelps and Caeleb Dressel have both admitted to “mental demons”. If it’s happening at the Olympic level, it’s happening everywhere. You, as a high-performing student-athlete, deserve the chance to reach your dreams without your mind holding you back.
If you want to optimize your game from a new angle, we can support you.
1. Engage in personalized coaching for you and/or your team.
2. Training and education programs for student-athletes, coaches, and parents.
