Thoughtful and discerning
I really appreciate these interviews. Russell Moore seeks to winsomely engage with current cultural issues with an inquisitive yet solid Biblical framework.
Appreciate the content but need to check facts
I’m blessed hearing the variety of views filtered through your perspective, which I mostly agree with. I’m bothered by inaccuracies such as continuing to call the 1/6 Capital riot an “insurrection” and claiming the rioters “beat a policeman to death.” Neither of these stand up to factual scrutiny. Both reveal the soft secular progressivism I detect in other ELRC publications
Redemptive & Substantive Conversation
Dr. Moore discusses a wide range of sociocultural and theological matters with intriguing guests, giving listeners a glimpse of who these people truly are (rather than just labeling them as proponents of ideas). In each conversation, Moore examines topics through the lens of the biblical Gospel while allowing his guests to openly share their views - even if they differ. With so many “angry fundamentalists” getting attention in today’s Christian circles, it’s both refreshing and encouraging to hear mature conversation that seeks truth while retaining authentic respect for people who hold divergent viewpoints.
