Silence Is Golden; Welcome To The Jet Lounge Journey To Legacy

After returning from two weeks in the Okavango Delta of Botswana, Africa I had a fun experience in the airport that had a very valuable lesson.

Let me ask you this question, in negotiations who is the party that’s in control? The person that’s speaking or the one asking the questions?

Despite what a lot of people may think, the person who is talking is not the one that’s in control.

Last week while traveling through the airport in Botswana, I decided to take a chance and check out a new private lounge.

After walking in and simply sitting down, a few minutes later a kind lady came and asked if I belonged to the club.

After explaining that I did not and asking a few strategic questions, we found ourselves at a stale mate…

So what did I do? I engaged in some strategic, silence.

Silence is golden!
