Life-changing

This is my favorite podcast on both minimalism and parenting. I love Denaye’s well-informed, honest, balanced, and non-judgmental advice. Denaye has truly changed my life for the better. Her open discussion of what works for her family was a game-changer for me, especially her discussion of the quality of time she spends with her kids being more important than the quantity. (She does seem to have quite a bit of quantity, as well, though.) I first got hooked on this podcast when I was in the midst of trying to keep Christmas prep under control and Denaye talked about how little she puts up for Christmas decor. I thought, “Can I DO that without being a Grinch?! I guess so.” With so many specific, practical suggestions and details about her own approach to life and parenting, there are valuable lessons here for all parents.

Practical tips in tight segments—perfect for busy parents.

I find Denaye’s approach to parenting so helpful. Her calm and measured tones are instantly comforting. I appreciate how she keeps her topics brief and on-point, packing them with minimal, but usable, parenting strategies. It’s exactly what I need as a mother to busy little twins who doesn’t have much time these days to devote to podcasts.

Also—love, love, love the PrepDish recommendation. My husband and I have wanted to try a meal kit service but balk at the plastic waste generated by the typical meal prep service. And we really like shopping for our own groceries. PrepDish is perfect for us—we don’t have to stress about planning meals and we still have the fun of doing our own grocery shopping.

Denaye, I hope they stay on as a show sponsor, too!
