Two years have passed since the events in the City of Heroes. Returning from disparate locations, the Kids find themselves back in Haravel where tension between humans and monsters have peaked.  Trying to stay inconspicuous in a city tottering on the edge of societal upheaval, especially considering what the Kids did when last they were in Haravel AND considering the addition of two new adolescents to their adventuring group: a pink-haired fey and a hulking warforged.

The Kids make their way through Haravel, learning more of how tense the populace is in light of growing social unrest, on their way to the Kaltaniath Estate. Vartash uncovers difficult memories amidst the emptiness of his childhood home. Meanwhile, the Kids struggle to find their new normal with two, new (and strange) members traveling with them.
