Getting Out of the Way
We’re going old school and doing this episode while I’m riding in my car, because let’s be real, sometimes things get in the way of our perfect schedules, but we still need to get things done. Which is part of what I hope you take away from this episode. If we wait for the perfect time to do each of our tasks on our checklists, they’d never get done.
Do you find yourself giving yourself less time to complete more projects? I know as an entrepreneur who has done it all, it’s easy to lose track of time on certain tasks. Sometimes you expect someone to complete something in 15 minutes, when in reality it will take an hour if you’d like it done right, with the best quality.
Let’s take a step back to remember this about ourselves and what we put on our team to get done. It’s time for a gut check, make sure you’re not constantly questioning your team, instead build autonomy and do less micro-managing. Listen in and ask yourself if you’re in the way of your team, or if you’re trusting them to get the job done right.
In this episode we talk about:
+ The reality of workload timelines
+ How quality work is worth the time your team is taking
+ Trusting your team's process
+ Why you should stop obsessing about your team's hours

Characteristics of a really great client
The type of person that does really well on a team like Six Figs
Not taking yourself too seriously
