Not your average movie podcast
If you’re lookin for incredible in-depth breakdowns of films focus on theme and placement in cinematic history of said films, then this won’t quench your thirst.
What you do get is two close friends who love beer and movies and it succeeds tremendously.
It’s good to get two guys who love film for what it is... an escape from reality and being placed in a world for a fixed amount of time. It’s fun to just listen to these two gents wax poetic about what made these movies either fun or disappointing to revisit. Having a few beers only helps sometimes digest the harder to watch films.
Overall, in a sea of pods with filmmakers and film critics offering more educational and deeper looks at films and their importance, I crave two dudes who drink beer and wax poetic on movies like Big Trouble in Little China. Congrats Nathan and Travis. Drink on dudes and watch some movies
