Sixteen Years Clean with Dr. John Huff That Farm Life

    • Mental Health

After treatment for cancer and blood clotting, veterinarian John Huff began to have chronic pain. He heard about a medication that falsely promised pain relief without the risk of addiction – Oxycontin.  Like many others, he quickly became addicted to the medication. After several overdosing scares, John made his way to rehab. With determination, hard work, and God’s help, he was able to overcome his addiction.
“It’s been 16 years since I’ve been clean… God can get you through this…. You don’t have to just not use. God can deliver you from that, take that desire, and put it far from you. You don’t have to wake up every day thinking about it. You can be free from it.”  - John Huff
