Great podcast

Great investigative journalism. But the sound quality is pretty poor. But regardless, great job and hope there is a season 2.

Decent podcast

This podcast is decent and the production is pretty good. There are some major issues I found in it that didn’t land it at the top of my recommendation list. I thought the reporting and investigating was super well done and the general flow of the podcast was logical. What I really didn’t like was some of the audio recordings. It felt like the witnesses or people of interest she was talking to rambled on and on in usually an unintelligible way. Half the time during these portions of the podcast I found myself thinking “what are they even talking about”. Sometimes it even felt like the material in the recording wasn’t really that important so it was frustrating to listen to 15 minutes of audio recordings that didn’t really add to the story. I also wish the audio for these portions had been louder, on top of the rambling on, it was generally just hard to hear. While I think the story was solid, the audio recordings of phone conversations definitely detracted from my interest in this particular podcast and story.
