Skeptical is an investigative podcast covering the murder of Michael Bernos in July of 1994. One of the men convicted of this crime- his adoptive son, Daniel- has claimed his innocence for the past 22 years. Is he telling the truth?

We're hunting for the answer by reviewing case files, speaking to witnesses, and taking a unbiased look at the evidence. Is he truly guilty? Or is this a case of extreme injustice?

Great podcast

Great investigative journalism. But the sound quality is pretty poor. But regardless, great job and hope there is a season 2.

So Close

I like the idea and the “disclaimer” the podcaster gives about it being an amateur investigation. I can also imagine it was a ton of work. I just couldn’t understand what was being said in most recorded phone calls. I had to skip ep 4 because it only sounded like background noise. By ep 7, I was pretty lost and couldn’t even tell you many details of the case. I stopped listening and wrote this review at that time. I hope there is a second season with good audio.
