Is it a championing of a misunderstood band, a meditation on growing up in the south, an exploration of race relations, a love letter to my Dad, or just a bunch of "Y"-filled jokes about a stupid rock band? Let’s find out, while I review every Lynyrd Skynyrd song, one episode at a time. Turn it up!

Bonus Ep. Comin' Home with Ry
In this bonus episode, special guest Ry from Sabbath Bloody Podcast joins us to discuss one of our very favorite Skynyrd songs. And it's not on the proper 5 albums! What could it be? Clue is in the title.
Also, we dig into Wilson Pickett, Duane Allman, The Cranberries, and Black Sabbath. -
S5 - Ep. 2 - That Smell
Oooooh, That Smell. Time to discuss That Smell.
This might be my least favorite Skynyrd song, so prepare to be offended.
Fortunately, special guest Terry Mathley joins us to give the opposing view. -
S5 Ep. 1 - What's Your Name
We kick off the last album with a discussion of What's Your Name, the retirement of a favorite segment, and an inspiring tale of compromise.
-
Special Guest Alan Paul
Alan Paul is a prolific music writer, with two New York Times best sellers. We discuss his new book "BROTHERS AND SISTERS: The Allman Brothers Band and the Inside Story of the Album That Defined the 70s."
Also, tons of great Skynyrd content and a great Black Crowes story. -
Gary Rossington Tribute
The last original member of Lynyrd Skynyrd has died. Let's talk about Gary Rossington and listen to some of his best moments. RIP Gary.
-
Bonus Ep. Sweet Florida
Let's come together to mourn the release of Johnny and Donnie Van Zant's new song, "Sweet Florida."

Never pulled my gun
I love this podcast and how detailed it is. As a 30 year Skynyrd fan it speaks to me. I do have to let you know that “I never pulled my gun” isn’t referring to a literal gun. Innuendo.
Terrible podcast
Anyone who does a Skynyrd podcast should be a fan of the band. The podcaster spends more time talking about everything other than the band. You will learn nothing about the band listening to this bore fest.
Excyllynt
This is the best Skynyrd podcast. It's probably the only Skynyrd podcast.
RIP Clarence. #FreeJarrence
