Why is Emily on the show?

I listen every week and enjoy the podcast as a whole. My only concern is Emily. It seems like she makes inaccurate statements and you always know her opinion on an issue before she states it. I like the podcast, but replacing Emily would be a step forward. Sorry for the criticism, but I feel she brings down the show.

Every third word is “like.” I’m paying slate for ad free podcasts and I would like a like a third like of like my like money like back.

Provide Better Background on Topics

I usually find this show to be useful and to provide context on the financial sector in clear terms. However, the hosts often dive into the topic without providing a brief summary, so I sometimes just skip the whole show after two minutes because it’s clear they are not going to slow down and inform me about the general outline of the topic they’re discussing. When this happens it is extremely frustrating.
