Outstanding analysis of the week’s news!

An insightful weekly conversation with John Dickerson, Emily Bazelon, and David Plotz. One of my best sources of thoughtful perspective on the news.

Emily! Stop saying LIKE!

Love this podcast and listen EVERY week. Always insightful and intelligent and provocative. But Emily, you dim your brightness by your fondness for the word “like”. Listen to the latest episode and count them up. It’s distracting.

You’ve heard all of this before

Just another political podcast for people who want more ammo for their “I’m right” perspective. You’ve heard all this before from the media. I try to find stuff where I actually learn something but this is so one sided it’s not worth the time. I feel the most informative podcast work on both sides of an argument. The thought process behind that is our country and it’s issues are not so black and white. When you listen to people like this it takes the multiple approaches to an issue away and you are left with a rift between people and their views.
