Banana massacre
An entire episode about bananas, not a single mention of one of the most bloodiest massacres in the last century in South America which happened on the plantains of Chiquita. Even having a Chiquita rep on the show.
I have been a big fan of your show but this is absolutely cruel and calculated. Nobody can do journalistic work on bananas without coming across this part of the history. And then deciding not to mention it?
Hope Chiquita paid you well.
It’s fun
Not the most streamlined or informative but these two are fun to listen to, much more so than most other Buffy themed pods.
