Comedian Chloé Hilliard returns with her solo podcast, Social Misfit, where she takes cues from today's social media and tries to make it make sense.
The former journalist has written for The Village Voice, Huffington Post, Essence, The Source, VIBE Magazine and more. Her debut book "F*ck Your Diet" and comedy album "Big Dick Energy" are available everywhere.
85. Be The Visionary
After a tough week, Chloé decompressed with cartoons and "The Andy Warhol Diaries" on Netflix and was invigorated! Seriously, it's inspiring to see visionaries buck the system and criticism and do that. A wise lesson during these times of copy & paste.
Editor's Note: The name of the movie Jane Campion won (and bashed the Williams sisters for) is entitled POWER of the Dog, not Year of the Dog.
84. When Will We Know Peace?
Anyone up for a night at the new Emmett Till Opera? These past few days have been hard for us with war and racist foolery afoot but Chloé snaps out of it after making lasagna and buckling down. Better late than never. We also spotlight Freddi Washington an unsung Hollywood hero for Women's History Month.
83. The Girls Are Fighting
We're on the brink of WW 3, what shows do you have qued up?
Seriously, you may not care about Russia and Putin doing the most but now that Putin & Co. are being sanctione and their billions are about to dry up... it will impact us all. We also talk about the rules of Bachelorette parties and Chloé's memory problem.
82. The Dry Season
Life is full of peaks and valleys and sometimes we need to appreciate when things slow down. On this introspective episode, Chloé shares her thoughts on what she called her "Dry Season." Also, Pluto Returns 2/22/2022! What does that mean? Chloé explains.

81. Happy Valentine's Day
Better late than never, Chloé breaks down her Super Bowl boycott, her new approach to dating in 2022, Kanye West & more!
If there is a topic you would like a deep dive into let us know. Chloé is ready to put her journalist hat on.
80. Spot A Racist
The first week of Black History Month has been a doozy. We're talking Joe Rogan's love of the n-word, Awkwafina's blaccent and why women are losing their minds (and draws) at Sip & Paints.

I missed this podcast. I want you to do a deep dive on the economy. Is there really a worker shortage or have all of the low wage companies cut back on the number of people they hire? Are there really more job openings or are companies putting out ridiculous job postings that they have no intentions on filling which qualifies them for funding from the government?
Love you Chloe, I’m so glad you are back!
Great podcast #67 on the Super Bowl and I agree we have to keep on getting on with trump in office. Let’s vote to get this con man out.
