67 - Lightning Bugs 2: Election Reflection, Red November, and a Surprise
I'm still here!
It's been a wee bit, but I'm still here and working on getting back to normal. This week we have a surprise guest who is helping me keep it light and fun for this episode. November is here and I have news about Red November. Last year's project was something I'd hoped to continue and expand on this year, but two of my doctors have shut me down. I still have plans to talk about National Native American Heritage Month as much as I can, so let me know if you have anything you'd want to hear or have me share this month. I hope you're all doing well!!

66 - Lightning Bug 1, The Softer Side of Growing Up in the South
I know it’s cheesy, but what would it really be something from me if I didn’t stick something like that in here? This is a lot more chill than I usually am and especially a more chill topic. Let me know if you like these kinds of stories and what kinds of content you’d like to help us bring some light and joy into every month.
I hope you’re well and I’d love to hear your stories about growing up!

Announcement: Lightning Bugs
2020 Has been wild and hasn't shown any signs of slowing down. I've been thinking of what I can do with all these things coming back to back while also being mindful of myself. I've shared so many experiences I've had that were tough and shaped who I am, so I thought I'd share some stories of things that were beautiful about my childhood. The world isn't black and white and I hope to hear any stories you have of when you were growing up that are happy or really stick out in your mind. Hopefully, these little happy lightning bugs will carry us through whatever comes at us this month.

65 - Two Whole Years and So Many Things
How has it already been 2 years?? There's so much going on that I wanted to talk about and I definitely couldn't get to it all in this episode! Between the podcast and the new youtube channel, I hope I'll be able to get everything out to you soon! Before that though, let's touch base! I am seriously so proud to have you as friends and listeners as we navigate this new political climate. No matter how you've spoken out against the injustices in the world and especially with BLM, I really admire the courage and compassion I've seen! I hope you enjoy this episode and will be with me as we take a more positive tone as far as my energy levels haha and head into this election season with all the vigor of our need for better leadership!
With love,
Natalie

64 - Where I've Been and Where We're Going
Well, it's only been a few internet years! So far 2020 has been a school of hard knocks and I can't say how much support I've felt from those of you who have listened, mentioned me, or reached out. Getting to this mental point is something I don't have experience with and I'm sorry for taking so long to come back. I hope this is a window into my journey right now and that you'll join me as I come back slowly, but surely. Those of you are listening have helped me come back more than I can articulate.
With love,
Natalie

63 - Why are We Like This? with Mixed Present and Asian_Soph Part 2
Ok, so I am sort of waving the SOS flag...if one even exists. This is the second part of last week’s episode. I know a lot of us, if not all of us are now quarantined and I'm not going to lie, I am truly, truly struggling. When we finish the collaboration with Mixed Present and Soph, we will be doing live streams 3 days a week of beading and sewing with me where we can hang our and craft until things start to calm down. I hope that these live streams will give us another bright spot in our days.
I hope you enjoy this episode and that you are safe.
With love,
Natalie
