Something Old: Still Life With Tornado
We discuss the first half of STILL LIFE WITH TORNADO by A.S. King! In her pursuit of originality, she runs into her 23 year old self, then her 10 year old self, and later even her 40 year old self. Sarah begins to remember a lot of family trauma she’s been locking away, and the other Sarah’s past and future want to help... this book is as wild as it sounds, and a beautiful and devastating exploration of depression, school and family trauma, and what it means to be an artist. ~~~ for transcriptions, social media, and our Spotify book playlist: https://linktr.ee/some_old_some_debut

G & R are so much fun to listen to and after I listen I read the book. I’m ok with spoilers before I read. I like to compare their perspective to mine. If you don’t want spoilers, read the book first, then listen to the podcast.
Just a thought...
should at least get the name of the authors right 😕
