Charles Rogers/Wikipedia

I stumbled on this podcast when looking for a show about Marcia Trimble. I moved to Nashville in 1985 and people were STILL talking about it. As a fan of the true crime genre I quickly began listening to your other fabulous shows. (PS my parents are from Erwin and my great uncle was one of the children who saw the execution of poor Mary the elephant)

I looked up Charles Rogers on of the Ice Box Murders and saw that another podcast is listed as a further resource. I thought you or one of fans might want to add your podcast to the list.

Truly Likable Hosts

I’ve listened to most of the more-familiar true crime podcasts. I was ready for something new but searching the genre can be hit-or-miss. The hosts make such a difference for me! I tried listening to a few new podcasts covering a case I was familiar with, and that is how I found Somethings Not Right.

I LOVE it. The hosts tell the story in a fun, but respectful way, humanizing the victims. Their voices/laughs are a delight to listen to, and their chemistry is wonderful. They’re also people living real lives who respect their listeners (ex. They paused the Patreon when covid/quarantine hit but continues releasing content as their jobs allowed.)

I just appreciate them, and I’m so grateful I found some new “friends” to listen to during this yucky year! 💜

So boring

Such a boring podcast. Snoozefest stories and so political. Not good story telling.
