Soul Journey with Vicki Starr, #EmergentHuman The Michael Ostrolenk Show

    • Health & Fitness

Welcome to “The Emergent Human where we explore Optimizing Health, Embodied Spirituality and Post Conventional Living.

Ostrolenk speaks with Vicki Starr. Vicki devoted herself to her family and her career. She also participated in multiple physical challenges including marathons, six Ironman races, the Boston Marathon, Ultramarathon and SEALFIT's 20X. At 45 years old as an empty nester and not finding the depth of meaning in her physical challenges, she began a spiritual path of self-discovery.

Vicki chronicles the life experiences that led her to the path she’s on now, including the loss of her father, understanding her own trauma versus generational trauma, and the power she found in breathwork. Through her work, Vicki seeks to serve women, tapping into what lights their souls on fire. Vicki is offering a Soul Journey Retreat in Costa Rica from November 11-16. To learn more about this retreat and to explore opportunities to work with Vicki one on one, visit her website at https://hotforholistics.com/.

In other short updates:

Shout out to Will Brink and his new coffee booster called “Alpha Joe”. It has creatine for its neuroprotective properties as well as cocoa. I am enjoying it and have been experimenting with it for a few weeks now. It goes great with my Misha’s coffee. Today’s show is brought to you by Cosper Scafidi, an amazing body worker in the Northern Virginia area who has integrated different somatic practices into his work. To learn more about his work, visit his website: www.cosperscafidi.com/.

We will close out today’s show with one of my favorite singer/song writers Stuart Davis and his song “Savoring Samsara” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HKYdI19XKJY.
