Ep. 278 - Good Mood / Bad Mood
It was a big week at a variety of hockey levels, from high school hockey all the way up to the NHL, where the trade deadline passed, Jordan Eberle hit 1,000 games, and the Seattle Kraken lost in miserable fashion to the Vegas Golden Knights.
The guys break all of that down and more, and they go around the league for a game of "Interesting or Carry On."
Segments include:
Bad Boys
Weekly One-Timers
Tweets of the Week

This one gets off the rails very quickly, as both halves of #TheExperience, Alison Lukan AND Piper Shaw are in studio for the entire episode!
It makes for an incredibly fun extended episode, with plenty of laughs, debates, arguments, and anecdotes.
Topics range from Andre Burakovsky's improved play with the Kraken to Piper's large cat to the difference between "Florida" and the "Florida Keys."

Ep. 275 - Deadline Approaching
The NHL trade deadline is fast approaching, and the Seattle Kraken front office will have decisions to make. Will the team win enough in the next two weeks to convince Ron Francis to keep the group together?
In this episode, the guys discuss that, plus the past week of play for the Kraken. Also, some discussion of Darren's University of Washington story on soundofhockey.com and plenty of hijinks.
Segments include Goalie Gear Corner, Weekly One-Timers, and Tweets of the Week.

Ep. 274 - The Crows Have Eyes
As the Kraken hold onto their season by a thread, the boys are back to do some more crow talk, after Darren's crow-related complaints last week sparked lots of discussion.
Seattle had two terrible games out of their All-Star / bye week break but bounced back with a shootout win against the Islanders. How long before they're forced to sell?
Also on this episode, the guys discuss the Ridly Greig/Morgan Rielly brouhaha and much more in Bad Boys and Weekly One-Timers.

Ep. 273 - All-Star Mailbag
With the Kraken still on break, the guys decided to do a mega Mailbag on this week's episode of the Sound Of Hockey Podcast.
This is an extended show, with plenty of insights about the big news that broke around the league this past week and eventually a solid 30-plus minutes of Curtis, John, and Darren answering questions from listeners.
Aside from the Mailbag, Weekly One-Timers is the lone segment this week.

Still the best Kraken hockey podcast
This is is a re-review. I gave you 5 stars in 2021 and you’re still a top tier, 5 star podcast. I wanted to give you guys more atta boys for the great content but also had a question. I jumped into the world of hockey when the team was announced and so this question may be somewhat silly. My question is, with Rehkopf and Firkus both dominating in both of their leagues, would it be safe to assume they will be playing, at minimum, with the Firebirds next year? Maybe even with the Kraken? I know they’re both young and maybe undersized but I just wouldn’t think they do another season in their current leagues or anything lower than AHL next season. Just wanted to hear what you guys think. Again I love this show, I’ve run into Jon a few times and he’s great, Andy was so amazing. Darren cracks me up, if I ever bump into you I have a funny story for you. Curtis is solid, I’m glad he’s been added, the “bury” episode was too funny. Stick taps Andy!
