All the Improvised Sound Effects You Could Want!

I waited to write this review until I made sure the quality didn’t dip. 40 episodes in and I think it’s safe to say that the glorious podcast we have here will continue down the entertaining, enlightening and humorous path it’s always been on.

These three fine gentlemen know their hockey, their pet peeves, their goalie minutiae and what they want off their lawn.

And they do their own sound effects to boot! How many podcasts can say that?

When I first started listening I didn’t even know what the acronyms WHL or ECHL meant. Now, I’m a full blown scholar thanks to Andy’s insights. I’m also very knowledgeable on the Minnesota Wild even if I never wished to be (I think Andy and John would agree with me) and I have a handful of places I need to visit to watch a hockey game at the next time I’m in Seattle.

All in all a great podcast that’s worth 5 stars and no, I am not a family member or friend of any of these guys and no I was not paid for this review, but will gladly accept compensation in the form of a Crap Weasels sweater.

The Voices of Northwest Hockey

Darren, John, and Andy are insightful, knowledgeable and entertaining as they discuss the full range of Northwest Hockey action. The show is a recent discovery and I've gone back and listened to the older episodes. It's great to relive the excitem, ent of the NHL announcement!
as a Bay area ex-pat I appreciate John's support for the Sharks and I certainly agree, Marchand is a regressive jerk.
The show is great and keeps getting better.
