Luciano vs. 2022 FA Shortstops
Firstly, great show. I enjoy reading and listening to all your work at Around the Foghorn. I’m not huge on Twitter, but I’ll have to check yours out for that consolidated pdf of all that awesome prospect material.
My question: How do you see the interaction of Luciano’s rise and the Giants’ potential spending on one of the marquee shortstops next year?
E.g. Do they spend on a big SS in 2022 and have Luciano be the 3B of the future? Do they avoid the SS market thinking Luciano is the guy, use a stopgap like a 1 year Crawford contract or Dubon, and spend on some higher tier SPs?
worth a listen
