Sounds Like An Earful: The Workshop

This is one of those shows that will be held up as an example of "what podcasting can do". The production value is tremendous, the time and care put in to every single episode is instantly apparent. I wish this show nothing but success and I know they'll find it. Take care, Dad!

As a podcaster myself, this is the sort of show that infuriates me. It feels so effortlessly entertaining, so unassumingly charming and intriguing that you can almost forget that these characteristics don't happen easily. Christopher "bumbles" his way through the big questions of life while engaging facinating people and extracting really interesting conversations from them. He then "awe-shucks' his way to production value and editing that wouldn't be out of place on a episode of RadioLab. All this while crafting original music for the show that is just...top notch. In short: I hate you, Christopher. You make the rest of us look like we're not even trying. (And I look forward to hating you more and more each episode becasue I will not be missing a single one.)

I'm new to the show, but already hooked. The few episodes I've listened to have all been very interesting, and thought provoking. The production is great. I'd say it's comparable to Radiolab, but the amazing thing is that Chris is a one man show, at least from what I can tell. Definitely worth a listen.

WOW. This podcast has incredible production value. The use of music is excellent. I also think that the host has a easy-going and charming approach. This is a hidden gem that more people should listen to. Keep up the great work.
