This missional practice series will follow the early story of Moses to encourage us to show up for people around us. Utilizing the book Just Show Up by Drew Dyck, this series will equip our congregation to take simple but necessary steps for the good and flourishing of their neighbors - the people around which they live, work and play. Instead of hesitating to enter the lives of others (because we don’t know what to say or do!), we can be a people who do the simple thing and witness God’s incredible ability to use it powerfully.

This textual series from 1 Thessalonians will offer reasons why we hold out hope in a cynical world and why we continue to live out the mission of Jesus to our skeptical Springfield community. Each sermon will offer another tune to whistle while we work in Christ’s mission and will encourage us to fight despair with reasons to keep going forward.

We remember that Jesus died for all of us with worship and reflection as we consider what that moment must have been like, and as we worship God with grateful hearts for this immeasurable sacrifice.
