Can’t wait to hear more
Really enjoyed the first season, but more excited about what’s coming. The standalone episode, Blackpool, got rid of the narrator element and really pulled me in. Looking forward to more!
Hmm...
This is difficult to write...(not meaning to be cruel):
Superb sound design and acting are unfortunately bogged down by a tedious, unoriginal narrative, drowning in dull exposition.
Have tried three times to get through this, but not sure I can continue through season 2. If it improves I’ll gladly modify my review.
If you love all things traditional (Tolkien, meets Star Wars, meets Battlestar Galactica, meets so-on-and-so-forth), this is for you. It’s not bad...but it’s not great, either.
Certainly it’s great for tweens/teens - lightweight fantasy-fare that’s remarkably traditional.
And again, the sound design is marvelous - sumptuous and immersive in the best way.
Awesome!
Totally immersive experience. LOVE.
