A recap and discussion of the television series Twin Peaks.

    The Return: Part 9 aka S. 3 Ep. 9

    The Return: Part 9 aka S. 3 Ep. 9

Is it just us, or is everyone speaking in code?

In this episode, we try to imagine the bigger picture involving Diane and THAT text.

We speculate that Wally may be a puppet, and we wonder if Johnny Horne's actions mean he's inspired by Laura and/or Cooper's "return."

Em and Steve are especially delighted by the cozy, heart warming scene with Betty Briggs, whereas Paul is ready for some answers, period.

Sparkwood and 21 is the One

The absolute most entertaining podcast on Twin Peaks in the trees. You’ll feel like you’re watching the show with Em, Steve and Paul. Some great insight from remarkable hosts. Eagerly awaiting a recap/hindsight of season 3/final dossier!

Bleh. 🤢

I tried listening to this for a bit (starting with the Secret History and then skipping into The Return), but I couldn’t take it for long. The hosts have an occasional decent insight, but 90% of this show is moronic speculation about the plot that we know in hindsight to be completely wrong. For instance, they went on and on for four episodes about a non-existent “billionaire” character who financed Mr. C., some moronic notion that Tracey was hired to trigger the appearance of Judy by having sex with Sam, and the girl would not stop carrying on about Mulholland Drive and trying to prove some connection.

5 out of 5 Slices of Cherry Pie 🍒🍒🍒🍒🍒

Steve, Em & Paul give an in-depth and extremely insightful review of each Twin Peaks episode, including research into literary, philosophical, historical & meta references. Unafraid to throw out crazy theories along with lots of laughter, they seem like dear friends now. I listen to 6 different Twin Peaks podcasts for each episode & if I'm asked to recommend one it's always Sparkwood & 21. They always have at least 2 or 3 things they catch that no one else does. They are an essential companion to this wonderful play-along mystery David Lynch & Mark Frost have given us. ❤️
