Easy pace for digest

My American boyfriend has been wanting to learn Cantonese (mostly how to speak) so that he can talk to my family. His main complaint was that most people speak it too fast for him to follow. The slow pace of this is good because it isn’t too much information and there’s no pressure.
(I think the speed is optimally designed for the brain to absorb and repeat.)
