This isn't just a podcast for talking about homelessness, it's about talking WITH those experiencing homelessness. It is necessary for us to be reminded these individuals are real people, who made real choices both good and bad, and they still deserve another chance. In sports we are rooting for the underdog to win, yet these individuals experiencing homelessness are true underdogs but we choose ignore or label them as lazy bums. Instead of what we should be doing which is rooting them on and offering them opportunities for a way out.
