Hi, Salina here. My heart is to help busy people go from feeling overwhelmed to finding true, deep down JOY. Some days we nail it and some days we’re not exactly sure what just happened but we are showing up. Come live life with me. Let me be your daily pep talk, cheerleader, friend and confidant! God has a perfect plan for you; a design specific to just you. I assure you though, it does not include living tired and discontent. I know it's for you to live fully into who you're meant to be! So, let's spin the plates together with JOY and purpose.

Ep 99: Beyond the Knots with Elle Levins
I've been waiting impatiently for this episode to make its way into the world. Elle has a beautiful way of sharing her heart and story. This episode is all about mental health and pulling back the veil on what it looks like to do the work and be a work in progress. I'm grateful my sweet friend felt brave to share and leaned into the hard. The world is a better place with her in it.
Elle Levins is the founder and creator behind Beyond the Knots, a business dedicated to sharing the timeless and beautiful art of macrame for others to enjoy. What originally started as an outlet and a form of coping through the struggles of mental health that Elle faces day-to-day, she found a new perspective that helped begin her healing. With each piece she made she found purpose and a way to share her passion of being there for others who battle the stigma that surrounds mental health. We all have “knots” in our lives that we try to untangle or ignore. Overtime they only get worse. Choosing to accept those knots for what they are; a part of you, we can begin to find that together they can form into something truly beautiful.
Elle’s goal is simple, she wants to have a positive impact on everyone she meets through her art- whether that be a changed heart, or a simple smile. Her pieces are a little reminder that there is a lot of light for us, if we can only look Beyond the Knots.”
In this episode, she talks about music as a tool for working through moments of struggle. Here's one of her playlists on Spotify. I've been listening and love it!

Ep 94: Grace through Grief with Alexandra Hope Craig
This was such a special conversation. Alexandra has a beautiful story and I know so many will find healing through it. I'm thankful for people like this who open up their hurt and heart to the world.
As a widow and single mother, Alexandra Hope Craig understands the pain of loss and the struggle to find hope in the midst of heartache. She knows firsthand the devastating impact of a terminal cancer diagnosis and the difficulty of navigating grief while rebuilding a life and raising a young child.
But through her journey, she and her family experienced the goodness and faithfulness of God in a profound way. Now, she is dedicated to sharing that message of hope and healing. In particular, she encourages others to trust their grief and heartache in God's hands with the knowledge that He is faithful to trade beauty for ashes.
