    (SHBCLASSIC) #SHB091 - A Quiet Place

This episode was originally published on 9th April 2018. It is reuploaded in it's original form with no edits as an SHB Classic. One of our most anticipated films of the year is finally here! After an amazing trailer and a concept that we fell in love with; we really hoped A Quiet Place would deliver. In our discussion we cover everything from this film’s use of sound, it’s core themes of family and parenthood and how it draws from a wide variety of films such as Interstellar and Don’t Breathe. Also we discuss the first full length trailer for The First Purge and whether it got us excited or not. The Grudge rears its ugly head once again. And one of all our time favourite horror films turns 5! This is it. The big one. After many outside factors trying to take us down throughout most of December; we are finally here to chat about the year that was 2023. Certainly a year filled with highs and lows. The main event as always is our top ten where we rank and order the best horror films this year had to offer. We then give out our individual awards such as Best Death and see just how much TV dominated this year. And ending the show we have a big announcement regarding the future of this very podcast. Thank you for listening once again and we hope you enjoy this big finale podcast. #SHB373 - Dark Harvest

With the final show of the year fast approaching we have time to squeeze in this very bizarre film we spoke about on the show many years ago. Once we heard about Sawtooth Jack we knew we wanted to see Dark Harvest and after numerous delays it is finally here. Was Jack worth waiting for? Let’s find out. Elsewhere this week; Thanksgiving and Saw are both getting sequels which makes us happy. Robert Eggers’ Nosfaratu gets dated for next Christmas. And ending the show we give some brief thoughts before our year ender on why 2023 hasn't been the best year for films. Dark Harvest is available on streaming services worldwide nowFollow us on Twitter @SHBPodEmail us: SuperHorrorBrosPodcast@gmail.com**Please take the time to review & rate us on iTunes or your podcast service of choice. #SHB372 - Hell House LLC Origins: The Carmichael Manor

This latest entry in the Hell House LLC franchise dropped on Shudder over the Halloween period and we’re glad we’re finally getting a chance to discuss it. We’ve really enjoyed this low budget found footage series over the years and were curious to see what this first spin-off film would be all about. Elsewhere this week; the only thing worth talking about is the seemingly collapse of Scream 7 and what this means for the future of the franchise. It’s a doozy and we have a lot of opinions about the whole situation.Hell House LLC Origins: The Carmichael Manor is available on Shudder worldwide nowFollow us on Twitter @SHBPodEmail us: SuperHorrorBrosPodcast@gmail.com**Please take the time to review & rate us on iTunes or your podcast service of choice. #SHB371 - Thanksgiving

    #SHB371 - Thanksgiving

After a little break we are back with a film we’ve waited 16 years for. After a fake trailer as part of the Grindhouse experience back in 2007; we’ve long wondered what a feature length version of that ridiculous trailer would look like. Well wonder no more as we finally get to see if it was worth the wait or if it should have stayed as a silly fake trailer. This is also remarkably the first time we’ve ever covered an Eli Roth film for the main discussion on the podcast and it’s long overdue. Elsewhere this week; Black Mirror will be returning to Netflix. Mike Flanagan’s next film is NOT a horror film? And ending the show we discuss our love of Tremors and Rob Zombie. Thanksgiving is available in cinemas worldwide nowFollow us on Twitter @SHBPodEmail us: SuperHorrorBrosPodcast@gmail.com**Please take the time to review & rate us on iTunes or your podcast service of choice. #SHB370 - Creepshow: Season 4

Creepshow made its long awaited return to Shudder next month so it's about time we talk all about it. 2 years since the last season and Season 4 brings us vampires, ghosts, werewolf, monsters; just about everything horror related you could ever want. We give our verdict on this latest season and how it shaped up to previous entries. Elsewhere this week; Terrfier 3 is officially coming next year and is a Christmas slasher. And ending the show we somehow find a way to talk about Hellraiser yet again. Creepshow is available on Shudder worldwide nowFollow us on Twitter @SHBPodEmail us: SuperHorrorBrosPodcast@gmail.com**Please take the time to review & rate us on iTunes or your podcast service of choice. Best Podcast for New Horror Movies!

An excellent podcast for horror news and new horror movie reviews. It’s easy to stay up-to-date with all things horror when you listen to this weekly podcast. They really analyze the good and bad of each film - with little to no spoilers. I’m typically a fan of older 70s/80s horror movies, but I’ve discovered some awesome new movies after listening to this informative and fun podcast. Thanks guys!

The Best Weekly Horror Podcast!

There simply isn't another podcast that covers new theatrical horror movies throughout the year, like Super Horror Bros does. Matt and Mike are passionate fans of the horror genre, and that is apparent in every episode. They create this amazing podcast because they love horror movies, so this podcast is really for horror fans, created by horror fans. They have an incredible format that features reviews of current theatrical films, current on-demand films, and of course horror film news. Everyone covers the classics, but far fewer cover current movies and that is what makes Super Horror Bros, an essential podcast for horror film fans and receives my highest recommendation.
