He is trained as an emotional and spiritual intelligence coach, and is a PCC Professional Certified Coach (International Coach Federation). Jim founded Spirit of EQ in 2012 to better address the burgeoning needs he saw unfolding around him.
So what is Spiritual Emotional Intelligence?
    As Jim states...
I would say that spiritual emotional intelligence is a blending of a couple of different things. And it's been said by many wisdom teachers throughout the ages that emotional intelligence without spiritual intelligence is two dimensional at best. And spiritual intelligence, when added to emotional intelligence, gives our life color and texture. Because if you have one of those without the other, it's more black and white and two dimensional.Lynette also tells us...
Spiritual emotional intelligence is the capacity to utilize both spiritual and emotional insight, to create a full and meaningful life.In each episode, Jeff and Eric will talk about what emotional intelligence, or understanding your emotions, can do for you in your daily and work life. 57 - Anxiety and Emotional Intelligence

57 - Anxiety and Emotional Intelligence

As we have said many times, emotional intelligence (EQ) is the ability to identify, understand, and use your own emotions in positive ways to relieve anxiety, as well as relieve stress, too communicate effectively, to empathize with others, to overcome challenges, and to defuse conflict.
But having a high EQ does not mean a person isn’t occasionally anxious or depressed.
Jeff talks about his personal struggles with anxiety. And how, with the help of those around him, and his continued understanding of EQ, he now has a better outlook on how he addresses anxiety in everyday situations.
In this episode, Jeff mentions https://www.amazon.com/dp/1684034833/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_CEN9KW4EQ96JB3VJSHB2 (The Anxiety and Phobia Workbook). Packed with the most effective skills for assessing and treating anxiety, this evidence-based workbook contains the latest clinical research. You’ll find an arsenal of tools for quieting worry, ending negative self-talk, and taking charge of your anxious thoughts.

Jordan Nish ,

Eric is a captivating speaker and a great mentor

Its always great listening to Eric on the Podcast

Davajava2 ,

Known Eric for a long time...

...and I just have to say that what you get in air is what he truly is about! Listening to that was as if Eric and I were in our bible study groups from way back when, pre-kids, to chit chatting at my cubicle at work, to hikes and kids and post kids and coffee shop visits today! The word GENUINE! It is him! Eric listens, shares, thinks before reaction and GROWS with every interaction...evident in the interview with LeeAnn. Anyway, that genuine man makes a genuine person of you...worth every minute spent listening to him! Love it! Thanks Eric!

Johnny DryHeat ,

The missing link!

After 20 years in corporate America and my own journey of self-discovery, I can tell you that EQ is the most frequently missing (or misunderstood) component of relationships... Personal and professional.

Jeff and Eric are skilled at breaking this down and relating both concepts AND tactics that actually work, using digestible, "real world" vs clinical/textbook examples.

Along the way, they model EQ in action!

Thank you, gentlemen! You've helped make me a better leader, father, spouse, friend and neighbor 🙏🏼💜☸️
