    When You're Feeling Competitive

    When You're Feeling Competitive

Wait a minute - I just wrote that same post.
That’s the book I was going to write.
Why does her work get so much attention?
Why should I keep going when there are so many other women doing it better?

These are ugly, uncomfortable feelings. We don’t want to allow ourselves to experience them, let alone admit that they are a part of us. But ignoring them doesn’t do us any good. Actually, that just lets it all fester deep inside.
What should we do with our ugly, competitive feelings? Can Jesus redeem even this?
    Spoiler alert: YES!
Give us 15 minutes and we’ll chat about how.

    Is This Burnout?

    Is This Burnout?

We all know that Jesus commended the widow for putting her last 2 coins into the offering. Isn’t that what we’re called to do as well?
Or is there something to be said for knowing our limits, for recognizing when our cup is empty and taking the time we need to recharge?
How do we know know if what we’re facing is burnout, or if we’re called to give from our places of poverty? How do we use our gifts well when we feel so overwhelmed?

    When God Wrecks Your Plans

    When God Wrecks Your Plans

We all know the adage: If you want to hear God laugh, tell Him your plans. Seriously, though, what do we do when we map out our future, or even just the next few steps, and God seemingly throws us the most epic of curveballs.
What do we do when plan A just isn’t an option anymore?

What we’ve all been waiting for! 🎨

I cannot express how much I’ve been desiring this ministry. I didn’t have the words or the means to create it myself, but I had been searching and wondering what a community of Catholic creatives would be like— and it does NOT disappoint! And to be focused on women, as well, is an even greater blessing!

It’s just starting out, just a bud of the beauty it can and will become, but that also inspires me. If this ministry can start from imperfection and the desire to do the holy Will of God, maybe I can too.
I’ve always believed that there’s a little bit of “artist” in everyone, and I can see that message in this podcast and beyond. What amazing movement of the Holy Spirit!

God bless and grow this community we all need- even if we didn’t know it!
