Each week, world traveler Leon Logothetis will sit down to have an unscripted and spontaneous conversation with a mystery guest. He will have no idea who he's about to talk to until he sits down and sees the face in front of him, and even then, he might not know who it is!
Leon will be speaking to all kinds of people, including authors, actors, athletes, historians, all with no preparation, to show you we all have the ability to connect from the heart.
Leon is a television host, best selling author, world traveler and international speaker. His hit show, The Kindness Diaries, is now streaming on discovery+
The Longest Kill | Craig Harrison
My guest this week is British Army sniper and veteran Craig Harrison. Craig was known for the longest kill in the world at just over 1.5 miles. Since leaving the army, he has battled PTSD and our conversation highlights the struggles we all go through with our mental health.
This is a very important episode to highlight mental health and show you that there is help out there, no matter who you are. It is the darkness that we find the light, and by having these open conversations, we learn that human connection is a tool for healing.
Life in an Internment Camp - Joy Kogawa
This was one of the most remarkable conversations I’ve ever had that touched me in a way I was not expecting. Never have I experienced such wisdom and insight from stories of the unimaginable horrors of war.
My guest this week is Joy Kogawa. Joy is the author best known for her 1981 classic novel "Obasan", based on Joy and her family’s forced relocation to Japanese internment camps during the Second World War.
She was made a member of the Order of Canada, the Order of B.C., the Order of the Rising Sun, and has received seven honorary doctorates in literature, law, and divinity from several Canadian universities.
The lessons Joy has learned in her life are truly magnificent and we can learn a lot from her. I hope this conversation touches you as profoundly as it touched me and you take something away from it.
Secrets of The Mona Lisa - Caroline Cocciardi
This week, I got to speak to Caroline Cocciardi about the wonders and secrets of Leonardo Da Vinci’s hidden messages in his paintings. It’s a remarkable conversation that will have you scrolling online after looking for these secrets like I did and learning about the humanity within the art. I never knew how much was hidden in the Mona Lisa before this chat.
Caroline Cocciardi is a filmmaker and writer. Her book “Leonardo’s Knots” is a fascinating read.
The Miracle on The Hudson River - Dave Sanderson
What would you do if you were in a plane that was about to crash? My guest this week knows this all too well. Dave Sanderson is a speaker, author, and one of the survivors of the Miracle on the Hudson crash. As well as recounting the terrifying ordeal on board, Dave talks about how we can turn any turmoil into triumph.
I guarantee you will gain new superpowers in dealing with adversity with Dave’s wisdom. This was a phenomenal conversation I can’t wait for you to listen to!

He lived on both sides of the Iron Curtain, and has dedicated his life to helping Americans and Russians understand that they have a whole lot more in common than most realize. Our conversation focuses on his latest film The Strait Guys, which is being released theatrically in Europe during June. It’s the incredible true story of a group of US and Russian visionaries who are trying to link their countries via the world’s longest train tunnel beneath the Bering Strait. The InterContinental Railway would be the “Panama Canal of the 21st century” and promises to bring “peace, progress, and prosperity” to all humankind.
