Brownstone is making housing affordable with its pods, a new form of housing on par with the single-family home, hotels, Airbnbs, and more. Each pod, which can house a single occupant, is available to tenants through a monthly rent. Now, the company is making pods available for direct purchase by businesses like homeless shelters. In this episode, James shares his insights on the causes of housing shortage and the future of the housing market, including the end of the single-family home as the typical homebuyer's dream.

The three were passionate in innovating in the realm of 3D printing and Amir’s time spent researching in the 3D printing industry brought them to the success of SprintRay’s first dental 3D printer known as Moonray. Today, Sprintray is expanding to a team of 200+ and many more products, selling thousands of 3D printers and changing the world of dentistry. In this episode, we explore Amir’s treacherous journey to innovation as well as his thoughts on what it means to be an innovator.

Tyler Menezes—Teaching Over 50,000 Students To Program
This SpotClub Live we featured Tyler Menezes. Tyler is currently the Executive Director at CodeDay, a non-profit that is helping students find their place in technology. Tyler has recently received a notable mention on Forbes 30 under 30 as executive director of CodeDay. His programming journey began when he discovered a book on programming. He was interested not in programming, but in the idea of building something cool. He went on to drop out of college to found a startup and go through startup accelerator Y Combinator, before becoming Executive Director at CodeDay. Since then, he has helped many students discover a passion in tech. We discussed a hypothetical new education system, the importance of diversity in tech, and more.
