My Preferred Kill Team Podcast

Amazing that Sugi can pull off a good solo show! I love his “just play and enjoy the game” attitude.

Fun show

It’s a fun show that lets you think about kill team in a new way while you do other stuff. Great painting companion.

Good start, lots of room to improve

The show started off great, but after a couple episodes, you start to realize Sugi is talking about the same things over and over. The latest episodes have been opening with an extremely slow start between 5-9 mins of talking about his 2 sponsors. I don't know if his contract is that he needs to talk about these sponsors for a set amount of time but it is excruciatingly painful to listen to at the start of every single episode. At this point I can sell Discount Games Inc and Battlefoam to a stranger. Another criticism is that we don't get any coverage (as of now) of any kill teams other than Deathguard/Plague Marines. Almost every single episode talks about plague marines in some regard. I understand that Deathguard is the army that Sugi runs, but at this point, its getting repetitive and I find it hard to finish an episode. I will say that Sugi is nice to listen to and the audio quality is consistently good. I'll continue to listen and will probably skip the first several minutes of the podcast until things improve.
