Flight 52 - Race, Fly, Build Squawk Ident - an Aviation Podcast

    • Aviation

Recorded on 5th of August, 2020

On today’s show, I am joined by Squawk Ident crew member and co-host RobD, who is taking a break from pouring money into his new yacht to join us today. We are recording as breaking news has spread around the aviation community just hours ago that a group of Senate Republicans are potentially backing the extension of the CARES act for an additional 6 months with an additional $25 billion in payroll assistance for U.S. Airlines. We will discuss what this potentially means for airline crew here in the US.

We also have the opportunity to speak with a phenomenal aviator, fabricator, and motorcycle gear head and racer who will join us from the AI Systems Inc. hanger in Redmond, Oregon, where he is currently taking a break from the build of his Lancair Legacy. He shares his journey in aviation with us and explains the challenges in building your own aircraft.

Join RobD and I as we welcome to the show Mr. Jonathan Gruber.
