Fresh perspectives

Anna and Caroline offer whip smart and fresh analysis (with a British twist for us American listeners) on new and old pop culture

Excellent listen

Very smart and fun reviews of important and interesting entertainment. I really like when they take suggestions from listeners and it's cool to hear them review such a wide range of entertainment/pop culture (phone games, short stories, podcasts, as well as music, TV, and movies).

Refreshing

Long time listener first time reviewing. I love listening to this podcast every week for pop culture suggestions and discussions. Anna and Caroline are great hosts! I feel like they treat everything very fairly and I really respect their opinions. Even when they don't like something it doesn't feel judgy or anything. They cover a really great range of topics too (movies, tv, books, music, even phone games!) it's also great to hear about pop culture in the U.K. that I probably wouldn't get otherwise. I never would have heard about detectorists if it wasn't for them and so I'm obviously forever indebted. 💕
