4+ years of listening and still my favorite Podcast

Joe & O.G. bring you sound financial advice, witty/insightful commentary on money, life, and managing the two together 3x a week! (Bonus guests on Friday)

It’d be an insult to call this infotainment. The show IS wildly entertaining, but again the advice is sound and I’m continuously learning as an avid listener. (Shout out to Doug’s Trivia)

5-Stars all day long!

15 mins of finance for 1 hr of listening

I’m a big fan of Afford Anything w/ Paula Pant, and was excited to check out Stacking Benjamin’s after hearing Joe on the Paula’s show. There is good financial advice on this show, but it’s too watered down with filler material(irrelevant commentary, trivia, and SPONSORED CONTENT). For an hour of my time, I feel like I’m getting 15 minutes of relevant financial material, at best. The conversation strays so far of course, by the end of an episode, I consistently find I forget what was even being discussed.

Too many Ads

Show is entertaining, can be informative, can give you a little chuckle. Great for finance people who need a brain break from too much heavy material around finance. But the Adddddssssss brahhhh. It’s too much. Feels like over half of the podcast your listening or promoting some endorsement. Just gets annoying.
